The Scribe, and His Forensic Evolution

The unconventional trajectory of an author trained in classical law, hardened in high-stakes corporate copy rooms, and dedicated to absolute historical accuracy.

Stelios Nikolaou is a multi-published & multi-awarded author, certified lawyer, poet, and history researcher - I could say, but that would leave most of my essence out of the picture, do you not agree?

Well, who am I? Who is Nisolomou? Allow me to speak about myself from a third person perspective, as if writing another novel.

The scribe was born and raised on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. He holds an LLB degree from Northumbria University of Newcastle, and an LLM at International Financial and Commercial Law, from King’s College London.

A former archery champion, a non-competitive boxing athlete, a freediver and an avid nature lover, he adores aestheticism, romanticism, philosophy and art.

While doing a legal dissertation on jurisprudence and natural law, he re-discovered his big passion - Cyprus, and all contained within her - and has since been trying to eloquently reveal the island’s beauty as a breathing character that remains sitted by a deserted shore’s rocks, waiting for her portrait to be taken by someone.

He publishes Greek poetry with Vakxikon Publications, Greek novels with Armida Publishing, is partnered with the Limassol International Book Fair and has been awarded in literary competitions in Greece and Cyprus; although he writes a variety of genres, his sight is set in Historical Fiction, Poetry and Fantasy.

An active advocate of literature, an avid researcher of the history of Cyprus, and a lover of all intellectualism, he strives to ask the questions that the many do not dare to contemplate.

When he is not writing or working as a full-time copywriter, he is either farming his vineyard or playing music.

He thinks about the Kingdom of Cyprus, and the Eastern Roman Empire, daily.

A young man with short hair and a beard looking up inside a decorated art gallery or museum, surrounded by large framed paintings on ornate white walls with intricate molding and a ceiling with elaborate white stucco designs and paintings.
I wait and hope–and create.
That’s what matters.
